How You Choose Your Car Paint?

Ceramic Paint Protection is perfect for used and new vehicles. It’s the best way to protect the investment you’ve made in your vehicle. If you love your vehicle, it’s a smart choice to protect your investment with ceramic paint protection. It can help prolong the life of your paint.

Here’s how it works.

Vehicles are made to last a long time, but they can be ruined by UV damage. UV damage can make your vehicle look older and worn out. By protecting your investment with ceramic paint protection, you can keep your ride looking newer longer, without having to replace the entire paint job.

Clear coatings on the exterior of a vehicle have a similar effect, but they are more durable and resist fading from UV damage. Both ceramic coatings and clear coatings help keep your vehicle cleaner longer, which helps it stay looking better for a longer period of time.

One thing that many people don’t realize about urethane is that it leaves a sticky residue on surfaces. While it does provide a high amount of protection from UV rays and the elements, it still leaves a residue on your vehicle.

This residue isn’t always a problem, unless you live in a very dusty area. If it gets into your air intake, it can make your motorcycle or car run slower, as the dirt from under the chrome can make its way into the air flow and decrease gas mileage. However, if you are willing to spend the money to buy ceramic protection from ceramic paint protection Brisbane, you can protect your investment from this unwanted pollution.

Different Types

Other types of paint protection include the hydrophobic variety and the anti-static variety. A hydrophobic ceramic coating will shrink and adhere to anything it comes into contact with. The ceramic coating on your vehicle is made up of millions of tiny crystalline compounds that have been carefully chosen to create a barrier between the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

These tiny crystals act as a barrier, keeping water, air and even UV rays from damaging the materials. Unfortunately, this type of coating also leaves a sticky residue on things like metal, vinyl and other materials, which make it a poor choice for those who have sensitive equipment or who live in areas where it snows.

The anti-static ceramic coating, on the other hand, will make a mark or scratch when the material is rubbed. This type of paint provides the opposite effect. As the liquid or gas passes over the material, the particles that are not water become attached to the surface, making them harden or scratch.

While this type of paint might be used on the exterior of your vehicle, it is most often found on bumpers, wheel wells, and the inside of the engine bay. This form of protection keeps both damage and rust from occurring, while it makes the inside of the engine bay appear factory fresh.

So, whether you are looking for a gloss or a matte finish, the types of ceramic paint protection available mean that you can customize the look of your ride. If you have had your automobile custom finished (a process that some people prefer to avoid because of the time involved) you may want to go with a more durable, long-lasting product. Or if you simply prefer a satin finish that won’t scratch easily, you can opt for a high-gloss, low-resistance version.
